Kia ora, hello! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Chloe - a somatic therapist dedicated to revolutionising motherhood from self-sacrifice to the deepest self reclamation for the benefit of all future generations.
This work is deeply personal, as well as professional. I’m a solo mama to a 5-year-old boy. After his dad and I separated when he was one, I found myself in a season that asked everything of me.
I wanted to be fully present for my son. I wanted him to feel my steadiness, my love, my joy, my availability. But what I began to see was that I couldn’t give him a deeply connected version of me while quietly abandoning myself in the background.
Through my studies in developmental trauma, neuroscience, the nervous system and attachment, I came to understand something that changed the course of both our lives:
If I wanted my son to thrive, I had to thrive first.
He depended on me for that.
So for 3 years I devoted myself to understanding what actually allows a mother to reclaim herself. Not just intellectually, but in the body. Not just in theory, but in real life. This journey took us on travels all around the world to learn from the most cutting edge teachers and methodologies.
Through this, I recalibrated my whole system from the inside out.
And miraculously, my son also transformed from a clingy and aggressive toddler into a confident and resilient kid.
People often see the energy and capacity I have now and assume I’ve always been this way. I haven’t. I built this out of love for my son — and eventually, out of love for myself too.
In both my clinical practice as a somatic therapist and my wider community, I kept seeing mothers stuck in the very thing I had worked so hard to find my way out of: a model of motherhood where depletion and loss of self are so normalised they barely get questioned.
Women were coming in to my clinic believing they were failing, when what I could see so clearly was that motherhood was failing them.
The truth is, the more I stopped making myself last, the more my whole family field changed.
That is when motherhood stopped being only a role I was performing and became a portal into power.
That is why this work exists. To offer an embodied path back to yourself.
Because your children don’t need a martyr, they need a map.
