Support for birth preparation
"I received support from Chloe several times over the course of my third pregnancy. Early on she immediately shifted some heavy feelings I didn't realise I'd been carrying through all four of my pregnancies, which originated from my first ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Each time I saw her there was immediate shifts from fearful worries and my connection to baby became so strong I would start receiving many messages. This pregnancy I have been a lot more grounded and I put it down to healthy nervous system support. I just know this was the missing piece in my previous pregnancies and postpartum. I will continue to use Chloe's techniques and support in the coming postpartum months."

One of my favourite sessions I had with a mum last week was giving emotional, spiritual and energetic support for her birth which could happen any day now!
Birth is such a powerful rite of passage for both mum and baby. It is designed by nature to be intense, strenuous and ultimately triumphant. An empowering birth gives mum faith in her strength for the demanding times ahead caring for a newborn. And it gives baby confidence in their ability to come through challenges and adjust to life outside of the protective cocoon of mum's body.
Birth can be the most intense experience a woman might have had in her life, and certainly this is the case for baby too. The amount of sensation to surrender to is immense. Because of this, many mums can feel fearful or apprehensive about their experience.
In these birth preparation sessions with clients I tune into both them and baby, and often share messages from baby for mum, strengthening the communication between them. At its best, birth is an act of teamwork. I sense blockages in the mum's body and emotions and use both words and energy medicine to release them. This leaves her feeling grounded and safe in her body and deeply connected to baby.
Our mammalian bodies know how to birth. When we are supported to get out of our heads - with the need to control, to know, to predict - and into the wise instincts of our bodies, then we connect to an unshakeable faith in ourselves. This is what I wish for every mum going into the birthing process.
If this calls to you, or you would like to gift this kind of support to a mum you know and love, feel free to reach out. I work in person in Raglan or online.

Chloe
